Welcome to "Pirate Treasures!"
We have been attending the
Renaissance Faire every year for over 20 years, since
the faire was located in Augora, CA. The Renaissance
Faires have since spread to several locations and
hundreds of different guilds thoughout California and
the United States. The Faires are often held in locations
that were established "renaissance faires"
in the late 1600s to the late 1700s.
We were introduced in April
of 2002 to the "pirate era" through No
Quarter Given pirate magazine. We were so fasinated
by the pirate that we needed to get more involved.
In May 2002, we came across these swashbuckling pens
that were designed as if they belonged to pirates, and
I excitedly showed them to a few of the fellow pirateers
and their reaction was the same! We aquired more of
this booty, like different styles of trinket boxes and
chests. My inventory was little, but my ambition was
large!
The first place "Pirate
Treasures" invaded was the Manhattan
Beach "Old Hometown Fair" and our booty
did amazingly well! I had people come to us and say
"We've never seen anything like this before!"
History was in the making.
"Pirate Treasures" went from an inventory
of 10 in 2002 to current 125 different pirate items!
We carry everything from the pirate pens, of course,
to authentic time period weapons, garb, handmade jewelry
and all the booty you've ever seen or wanted from throughout
the seven seas.
Pirate Treasures has a family of different pirateers
and guilds. One in particular is "Pirates
for Hire." Bo'sun Shred (aka Ted Shred) has
helped "Pirate Treasures" in many ways, from
performing pirate fights to fire breathing. Click
